Thomas R. Fahl

National Governance Committee Chair

Thomas R. Fahl is serving as the National Governance Committee chair for the National Council of the U.S. Society of St. Vincent de Paul.              

Fahl has been a member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul since 1971. He served as Conference president at St. John Vianney. He also served as vice president and president of the Waukesha County Council, and is currently serving as the Council president for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Council.

He spent seven years in the St. Theresa Parish in Milwaukee, Wis. where he served as a lector, a parish council member and president of the parish council. He is currently a member of the St. John Vianney Parish in Brookfield, Wis. where he is very involved. He serves as a Eucharistic minister and a lector. In the past, he served as the coordinator of lectors, co-chairman of the major parish fund drive, Co-President of Home and School, Boy Scout committee member and Cub Scout leader.

Fahl earned his undergraduate degree from Marquette University in 1962. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1965. He is currently a partner with the Bagley Law Firm, LLC.

Fahl is married to Peggy and together they have four children.
